The Galapagos Islands are an isolated archipelago located in the tropical South East Pacific, 600 miles from the South American Coast, in the country of Ecuador

The Galapagos Islands have very distinctive wildlife and landscapes. The uniqueness of the Galapagos' life and its differentiation among the several islands sparkled the theory of evolution in Charles Darwin's mind.

In this section of our website we offer you some interesting information about the Galapagos and what a visitor to the Island might expect to find. There are details about the visitor sites our yacht the M/S Encantada offers as shore excursions and a synopsis of the wildlife and landscapes we encounter on our cruises.

Now, 97% of the Galapagos' land comprise a National Park, its surrounding  waters have been declared a marine resources reserve and one of the seven  underwater wonders of the world.

Due to the abundance, size and number of its marine species, the archipelago  is starting to get more visiting divers each year.

Our partner Scuba Encantada is the first and best dive center in the archipelago, started operations in December 1991 and it allow divers to enjoy our marvelous underwater realms.
